The Barn

While not technically "barns," these outbuildings are a great place to get away. Either enjoy the quiet rhythm and the natural features of the farm, use them as a base-camp for adventures in some of Oregon's most beautiful venues, or participate in the daily activities with Eric and Laurie.  We offer plenty of opportunities to experience farm life. From plowing to planting to preserving to brewing to building to harvesting! Drive a tractor or weave a basket or pick some berries and make some wine... or drink some wine and write a song and then record it. The possibilities are endless!!! All rentals include a very locally-sourced farm breakfast daily, and a bottle of wine!

The Windy Inn. Eric and Laurie built this by hand after returning from Ireland in 2008. Although collecting the materials took a couple months, the actual build lasted only nine days! This is an amazing place to host a medieval feast or just tuck in by the fire with a good book and a dram of spirits! The Windy Inn has been featured in two movies to date and is listed on the Oregon Governors Film and Television database. It is available to book for photo shoots, portrait backdrops, as a film location, or for a romantic getaway!

The Viking House.  At only 120 square feet, this rustic cabin is perfectly suited for one person to get away from the grind for a night. Nestled back in the trees it has a lovely view of the creek and a comfy futon. It does not have electricity, water, or a bathroom (but there is an outhouse nearby). Perfect as a writers hideout or yoga retreat!
