-The space. Some people choose the field surrounded by flowers, some want the deep shaded forrest- others want to have their vows in front the stone cabin and others prefer the garden- we can do any of the above!
-Officiating. Eric is ordained and can provide a traditional ceremony or work with the vows you write. You are, of course welcome to use any officiant you would like.
-Shelter. We have large portable canopy able to accommodate you and your guests to keep you dry in the winter and shaded in the summer.
-Sound System. Though your wedding is planned to be intimate and no need for attendees to hear you in the back of a church, many people still want a precessional or recessional song played, as well as music if there is a small reception afterward. We offer a professional sound system including mixing board, cables, mics and the ability to run it. We also have a large (think suitcase size) bluetooth speaker that is battery powered for any needs in the woods where there is not power.
Tables/Chairs. We can provide seating for up to 25 people including set-up/break down. If the service is in a different place on the farm than the reception, or if the chairs need to be reconfigured to accommodate tables after the service, we can accomplish this- but will need to plan for it. If you would like something less traditional such as straw bale seating or wooden benches, those options are usually also available.
Photography, videography, catering etc: We have a list of providers of these services that we would happily share with you if you’d like. Their services are not covered in our quote. The farm offers very diverse photo opportunities. You are welcome to have a photographer capture you medieval axe throwing in the woods or posing with antique tractors or a vintage car with suicide doors. There is a small pond surrounded by alders or a creek running through a deep ravine under towering cedar trees. Though no one has done it yet, you could even have a “trash the dress” photo shoot with baby pigs (providing we have baby pigs at that time of course!).
Event insurance. We will arrange event insurance for the day of the wedding. For a small wedding like this it is generally about $125- this covers only injury type things, not reimbursement for things like cancellations or weather events.
Lodging. Lodging for 2-4 people is available in the old barn BnB.
Outbuildings. In addition to the guesthouse, the stone cabin and the A-frame are available for photo shoots or as a place for the groom and groomsmen to prepare for the ceremony. These structures both have earthen floors so if the bride is wearing white, the guesthouse would be the better spot for her to prepare.
Parking. We are able to accommodate parking for small events but do ask that people carpool if possible. Anything beyond about 12 cars requires us to utilize off-blacktop parking. While this is certainly possible, during wet months it becomes much more difficult to prevent damage to the grounds.
Set up and tear down are provided, as is garbage removal.
Rates. Every event is different and we are happy to offer you a personalized quote. Generally speaking, our base rate is $1000/day for photo shoots or tiny events. Weddings or events that include multiple guests will be quoted individually. Please contact us to discuss your event. We are excited to host you!
